Minkse - Annual Collection 2014 Launch , 6th April, 2014

Thunder and Applause greeted the esthetically lit Grand ballroom of Chancery Pavilion Hotel, here in Bangalore, when the Designer of Minkse , Minku B came on stage at the end of a marvelous Ramp walk by popular Bangalore and Mumbai models, who paraded the entire range of Pashminas, leather satchels and passport holders, Totes in satin silks and evening clutches. Endearingly, the choreography saw the cushions get  warm hugs and the models walk as Lamps with the  Lamp shades perched on their heads.
200 odd elite invited guests of the Social scene of Bangalore enjoyed Myra wine and hors d'ouvres as they shopped for the beautiful Eclectic and Bohemian range of MINKSE range of products. Forte of the brand and Flagship is that each product comes with a personalized story line of where and why a particular picture printed on the silks and leathers was taken by the artist.
Deccan Chronicle and DNA papers covered the Event beautifully.

ESSENCE OF PASHMINA

ESSENCE OF PASHMINA

What is pashmina? The word 'Pashmina' (پشمینه) comes from the Persian word 'Pashm' which means wool. Over many centuries, it has universally come to be known as a special kind of wool obtained from the outer skin of the goats living in the high altitudes of the Himalayas bordering Nepal and Indian Kashmir in South Asia. These pashmina shawls and pashmina wraps are hand-spun in Indian Kashmir, and, are known as pashmina cashmere or cashmere pashmina or only cashmere. These are deliciously comfy, soft, light and very warm, and, are destined to be a heir loom.
